SENIOR ADULTS

LIGHT BEARERS - JOYFUL SOUND - THREADS OF HOPE - BUILDERS FOR CHRIST
Light Bearers
The Senior Adult Ministry of Deep Creek Baptist Church, Called the Light Bearers, seeks to promote a clear understanding of the unique gifts, and fully utilize the expert abilities of adults, 55 years of age and older.
Senior Adults are an invaluable resource to the church, as they have a wealth of knowledge, experience, and generally more flexibility in arranging their daily lives in order to support the mission and purpose of Jesus Christ.
In depth Bible study fellowships are conducted for Senior Adults on Sunday Morning, Wednesday evening, as well as, other times for special studies.
Senior Adults are faithfully serving in every major ministry at Deep Creek Baptist Church. They serve as Bible teachers, committee chairpersons, deacons and ushers. The Senior Adults are also actively involved in our Sunday morning Celebration Choir and our seasonal productions. Joyful Sounds, our Senior Adult Choir, ministers in music at local nursing homes and hospitals.
Joyful Sound

DCBC Builders for Christ
DCBC Builders for Christ is a group of men, women and children serving our Lord Jesus Christ in the mission field of church construction. We help churches build their buildings by providing and coordinating volunteer labor for cabinet construction, food preparation and other required services. Our teams consist of volunteers from all walks of life including retired senior adults, students, contractors, homemakers, professionals and fire fighters. There is a job for everyone. All we need are servant hearts and willing hands. Contact Cully Culpepper for further information, 487-2182.
Questions regarding the Senior Adult Ministry should be directed to Tonya Tillman or Larry Ryals, at 757-487-2182.
